Crocodile Crossing at The St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park features two thrilling zip line courses with 50 aerial obstacles and seven zips over the lush zoo grounds, massive alligators, playful red-ruffed lemurs and tropical birds.
Zipping over live animal exhibits and alligators up to 13 feet long sets Crocodile Crossing apart from all other zip line experiences. The St. Augustine Alligator Farm in Florida is the only zoo in the world exhibiting all 23 living species of crocodilian, and Crocodile Crossing lets visitors see the park from new heights.
Zip line enthusiasts and first-timers can find the experience they seek by choosing from Crocodile Crossing's lower, shorter Sepik Course or the higher, more daring Nile Course. Those with an insatiable hunger for adventure may conquer both courses in the same day!
Guests ride a tree-top surfboard, cross wobbly suspension bridges and balance on a skinny tightrope throughout the two courses criss-crossing seven acres. These thrilling obstacles are placed within a labyrinth of branches that form the zoo's beautiful oak canopy. The less challenging obstacles of the Sepik Course initiate new riders, while the Nile Course challenges the most skilled adventurers.
An experienced zip line staff member educates all riders on technique and safety procedures before entering the course. All zip line harnesses and equipment, including gloves, are provided. Guests must wear closed toe, laced shoes while on the course. All riders must be 57" tall, at least 10 years of age and weigh less than 250 pounds.
Florida zip line adventurers should allow up to 3 hours to complete both courses.
